The Day we met our son...

Trapper was born a week past his due date! He was born on Nov. 30th, 2004. We were so anxious for him to finally arrive into our world. We anxiously waited for him and when he finally decided it was time, he came out fist first in less then 15 minutes. He literly broke his mom's water with one blow of his fist! When I was pregnant with my son, I looked like I was carrying twins & due any day @ about five months along. I used to pray so hard that he wouldn't be bigger than eight pounds. Guess what, he was born EXACTLY 8 pounds! So, I know God has a sense of humor and answers prayers.

Trapper was born a healthy and beautiful baby. He was welcomed into our family by both his mommy & daddy, his older sister Katie, and our daughter's dog, TeAnau.

For the first year of his life, Trapper was a happy, healthy, loving baby.  He was meeting all the normal milestones in development and brought us all so much pride. It was not until Trapper was around 18 months of age that we started noticing changes in our son. Up until this time he had developed a small vocabulary, but in a very short time he stopped all talk, eye contact decreased, and our whole world changed.
